Ramona books-Beverly Cleary
Babysitters Club-Ann M. Marting
Harry Potter books-JK Rowling (actually, I still think these are great now.)
Now:
The Phantom of the Opera-Gaston Leroux
Les Miserables-Victor Hugo
Oops…wrote Marting instead of Martin.
I have no idea what I read at age 8, but Beverly Cleary comes to mind, same with Judy Blume.
Mine now is Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen. And I’m reading The Phantom of the Opera now, and its really good so far, so it could be up there when I finish.
