This dish is referred to as parmigiana in Italy, and traditionally requires cooking and deboning a whole chicken, then using the resulting boneless meat along with marinara sauce and pasta. It is much faster and easier to use meat that is already boneless instead of doing the work yourself. You will avoid a complicated, time-consuming process and things will go a lot faster without costing much more money or removing any quality or taste.

 

Just using boneless chicken instead of bone-in pieces the way you usually do can have some pretty significant results when it comes to time consumed. Remember that fresh or thawed chicken ought to be flattened before using it in chicken parmesan, as well as many other dishes. That is because pounding the meat until it is evenly thick throughout will help the taste and allow for more even cooking, too.

If you think store bought sauce is boring, remember that you can add some seasonings, like olive oil, hard cheeses, balsamic vinegar and more to make things much more interesting.

 

Some people even choose to bread or bread and fry their chicken in advance, making the process even easier, or to assemble the whole dish in advance and freeze it. Then, you can just put your chicken parmesan into the oven when you are ready to eat it, and it will be finished relatively quickly. You will have the convenience of frozen meals, but the taste, quality, and health of home cooking.
