I got two fish from walmart , how do i take care of them?
My friend showed up at my house and brought me two fish in a plastic bag.. What do I do with them? Do I put them in a certain bowl? What do i do with the bowl first? Certain water?? Idk what to do? I have fish food but I don’t know what to do.

You will need to get atleast a 40 gallon tank for two goldfish WITHOUT any other fish. I know it sounds ridiculous but a goldfish can grow to be a foot long! So they would really be happy in a 40 gallon tank. Until it cycles (google nitrogen cycle) You can put them both in a 5 gallon bowl but try not to. If you dont want to get a 40 gal (with a filter, hood, etc.) then i would take the goldfish back because it is really cruel to keep them in a bowl for a long time.
