mystery fish i have no idea what they are?

its about an inch long and i found it out in a run off swampish marsh area i live in central new york i dont know how it got there its not connected to any majot water systems but ducks and geese come to swim in it and theres thousands out there anywhere from one to two inches long. I found one single pike minnow out there but only one the rest look like the picture. the picture is a little fuzzy but their not bass and they have about five little seperated spikes on them and on the bottom of their gills and i dont know if their minnows or if their fully grown but there are a bunch of little tiny ones less than half an inch long and i have no idea what they are and i know their not pets but this is the only categroy for fish on the answer site.
It’s shaped like a stickleback.
