12 year old girls and 9 year old boys gifts?
Hi,
I am visiting my neice Grace who lives in England, (I live in the US) and I would very much like to get her some gifts, as I have not seen her for the best part of 5 years.
I am currently in the UK at the moment, I will be seeing my sister Rosie and her family on Sunday, so there isn’t alot of time for gifts! (Don’t ask why I didn’t get them from America, seeing my sister and family was a last minute thing!)
Anyhow, to the point: I was thinking of getting Grace the following:
-Girl Talk Magazine (I saw it in the petrol station earlier, you know anything about it? Is it for her age?)
-A purple handbag from Claire’s
- A Jacqueline Wilson booked named ”Girls In Tears”
And for Peter, the 9 year old boy, I havn’t decided.
Please comment, that would be highly appreciated!
Many Thanks, Lucy x
Get the boy a book.
Nephews seem really excited when you get them something expensive, cool-looking or a fad at school but by the second day that present will be sitting in the hallway beneath a pile of shoes.
The stuff you’re getting the girl is acceptable.
I got a magazine that is for teen boys from my uncle, at first I though ‘I’ll never read, what the hell is [magazine name]‘ then, when I had nothing to do I read it and now I have a subscription.
I figure it works the same for girls.
Good Luck.
