10th grader in high school looking for a good fiction book to read for english class?
I’m a guy and i really like novels that are horror, fiction, or mystery.
Two books I’m personally considering are The Mist by Stephen King, and The Ruins by Scott Smith. Both of these are movies which is how I’ve learned of them but I have not seen either.
Another book I’d like to read is 1984 by George Orwell since my class recently finished reading the Giver. I really enjoyed reading The Giver, and many of my friends have read and liked 1984.
The last book I read for an independent reading project was Spiral by Koji Suzuki. It was very good and interesting, but was had to follow for me with all the plot twists and Japanese names. It did however have an insert for other books like spiral and one was called Crimson Labyrinth about a giant labyrinth on Mars where its a new reality show to get threw it.
Please don’t suggest Ereagon I recently read that and hated it.
Any thoughts on my preferences or some of your own suggestions would be very helpful.
